Almost every one of the almost 8,000 photos in the blog were taken by me. Occasionally, I’ll include a few photos that someone has sent me here and there as well. Well, today, I got the weirdest email…
A gentleman named Tim from the UK emailed me asking to confirm that I was in fact the seller of a red 1970 Series 2 OTS on eBay. he had asked a question about it, and was directed to my website. “Hell No!” I responded – confirming his suspicion that it was a fraudulent auction. But I was kind enough to say that if he was really of a mind to, he could feel free to send me the $28,000 they were asking for it!
He responded with a chuckle I guess, and introduced himself, said he enjoyed the website, and included a few photos of himself touring Europe in his V-12 roadster. And then my father-in-law and I just sat here and looked at them with our mouths gaping open – what a photographer, what a car, what a TRIP!!! After seeing them I asked to post them on the blog, and he gave permission and sent a few more – You have GOT to see these!
