Well, it looks like Hershey is in the process of getting rained out… My heart goes out to the guys up there – Lord knows I have been there and it is a real heartbreaker when you’re up there and it won’t stop raining! We used to make a full assault on Hershey – taking up cars and lots of parts to sell, trucks, trailers, tents, campers – we would sleep in our spots on the Flea Market field – go up on Tuesday night, and come home on Sunday morning… So in the past 32 years at Hershey, I’ve seen my share of “Hershey mud” – which actually doesn’t exist anymore, since it’s all on pavement. But I still feel bad for the guys up there – it just doesn’t work in the rain…
Luckily for me, I went up yesterday. I don’t really have the time to wander around Hershey right now, but as I’ve said many times, “The world stops for Hershey, and I’ll quit my job if they tell me I can’t go!” – and that goes for THIS job too! Here are some photos I took. I don’t have time to do captions, even though I’d like to – hopefully most of the photos will speak for themselves! – Chuck
