The “lead sled” is done and gone – to tell the truth, I kind of hated to see it go – it was just getting good!
Well, MOST of it is gone – we still have one of the world’s heaviest bonnets up on the shelf, and a coffee can of lead weighing about 50 pounds hanging around… This shell looked semi-solid on the way in, but there were alot if issues to be handled and we put alot of new metal into this old girl. In fact, I think the owner probably took home about a third of what he came with!
