Remember this photo – THERE ARE NO “RUST-FREE” E-TYPES!!! This is what every single seam on the car looks like when you seperate them. They assembled the cars from bare steel panels at the factory, without any coatings, THEN painted what you can see… Here, we use “weld-thru” and other quality primers inside of every seam we assemble – eliminating this problem for good. Eventually, the seams rust to the point where they bulge, making the spot-welds more and more pronounced, and then the seam finally rusts out entirely.
