ALL of the parts and pieces in these photos have been SOLD! But – you can still look through the photos, and I do have some more XK stuff from another parts batch purchase that I will be sorting through soon – call or write if you need something! – Chuck
Well, I just found a new home for our 1966 E-Type FHC project car, and the increased space that will give us has me thinking, “what else can we find a new home for around here?…” We need the space anyway, but I also have a couple of other things in the works and I might REALLY need the space later this Spring!
Last Summer, I made two trips far into Canada and brought home two LARGE trailer loads of E-Type parts. Part of that deal was also a rather large pile of XK-120, XK-140, and XK-150 parts.
The photos below show what we have, and I will add a short list here of certain key items that I know are in there as well. I would LOVE to sell these parts as a large batch to an XK restoration shop, but am also willing to sell pieces to individual restorers, etc.
EVERYTHING you see in the photos below is still here, EXCEPT for the shallower oil pan in the very back, and the XK-150 top frame. Have a look and see if there is something in here that you can use!
Parts pile includes, but is not limited to:
- Xk150-S aluminum dash panel in very good condition
- 2 more complete XK-150 dash panel sets
- One complete, excellent 4-speed from an XK-140MC – includes shifter and bellhousing (I pulled this trans out of that car myself 10 years ago and still have it – it is standard ration, non-overdrive)
- One complete, very good XK CLOSE RATIO Moss 4-speed. This transmission is complete, assembled, and all gears look good. The top is off and the aluminum housing (with same CR serial #) is cracked, but included with it is another excellent, uncracked aluminum top housing.
- TWO MORE complete XK transmissions with complete tops
- 3 XK bellhousings – one has (XK-150 hydro clutch) written on it
- Two XK rack-and-pinon steering units – one is complete and excellent, the other is mostly complete and apart.
- At least one steering column
- Close to 20 XK-style smooth cam covers (a couple have the holes where it WAS, but none have the C-Type emblem…)
- Excellent aluminum oil pan – I THINK it is XK-120 – it’s DEEP!
- A whole box of speedos and atchs – most appear to be XK-150 or jag saloons…
- Complete set of three pieces of windshield chrome for an XK-150-S
- Various intake manifolds
- At least one complete heater assembly with core
- And much more! Lots of brackets, hinges, trim pieces, etc. – What do you see that you need?
